Born in Boston, Howard Marc Chesley began his craft at the Johns Hopkins Writing Seminars and then at the UCLA Theater Arts Department. He has since had a long professional writing career in movies and dramatic television. He has writing credits on seminal shows like Crime Story, Equalizer and Chicago Hope as well as having co-created and produced the well-received series “Three Moons Over Milford” on ABC Family Channel starring Elizabeth McGovern. He has written several TV movies, the most recent of which appears currently on Hallmark Channel. His first novel, “Some Books Aren’t for Reading” was nominated for a 2019 Man Booker Award. Howard lives in Los Angeles, CA, USA.
